Electrowetting On Dielectric (EWOD)

I spent some time messing around with electrowetting on dielectric (EWOD). Though I was able to get some droplet movement, I seemed to be limited heavily by my dielectric. The best performing option I had available was Saran wrap with a thin film of silicone oil. Yet, this was still too thick and lacked the desirable hydrophobicity for ideal movement.
